Hello, my name is Leaf Vang. Leaf is a translation of my Hmong name which is Nplooj (Blong) which translates to "Leaf".

Wild Urban Adventures was started as a way to show my passion in the outdoors, and from there it has grown to be much more than just being in the outdoors. My main passion is motivating and inspiring our youths to follow their dreams and passions regardless of what their life goals are. Growing up in my generation, we did not have the mentorship and leadership to help us grow. Everything we earned for today, was mostly self-taught and self-motivated. This is why I started Wild Urban Adventures, to help educate, motivate and inspire the future generations. It is a very humbling experience when people, especially our youths, stops me out of the blue tell me how I have inspired them and through watching my adventures on my YouTube channel, how I’ve changed their lives. This is what motivates me everyday to always do my best as I know what I do, how I handle life, may directly affects others.

One of my biggest passions is kayaking and kayak angling. My hopes are that through my adventures, I can share my passion and my experiences of being a kayak angler to my viewers and followers. I feel that I am a great representation to my Hmong community and will get more from my community involved.

One of my biggest accomplishments in 2022 was helping to organize a meet and greet event with Bass Fishing Legend and Hall of Fame Gary Yamamoto and BlackFish Gear Pro Staff Todd Huynh. I was tasked with gathering some of the sponsors for the event and putting together a flyer and press release for the event. This event was very important to me as it was not only having the opportunity to meet Gary Yamamoto and Todd Huynh, but it was an event created for the youths and kids. This event was to help promote and introduce bass fishing and tournament angling to the future generation. I am a huge advocacy for the future of our sport and will continue to help inspire our future generation in tournament angling through these types of events and through my social media platforms.

Currently, my youtube audience is around 1,990 subscribers, facebook at 4,920 followers, tiktok at 7,851 followers, Instagram at 302 followers and all are continuing to grow. I have linked my social media links below for your review.
